Our tree harvesting system - ultimately an 8-drone harvester base - is designed to use 100% fossil-free power and shifts energy usage from Diesel to Grid Electricity. Thanks to the inherent efficiency of flying above the forest, not driving on the forest floor, will be able to deliver much more timber per KWh of energy than any currently available forestry harvesting system.
We can harvest timber in any terrain, ranging from swamps to steep mountain slopes - without damaging the soil, roots or nature. We help create a healthier forest that becomes stronger and more productive.
By harvesting from the air we don’t need any access roads or machine paths, letting more trees stay growing, making the forest more resilient to wildfires, storms and reducing biodiversity loss.
The increase in biomass and biodiversity enables the forest to store more carbon, ∼200 Megatons CO2/ year.
By preventing wildfires we make a significant contribution towards addressing the 6.5Gtons challenge.
