Company Description

Our mission is to improve breast cancer diagnostics by developing a contrast agent that allows medical diagnostician to detect the location of breast cancer in less than 15 minutes. Current gold standard in breast cancer diagnostics include mammography, which does not work well on young women, and MRI, which does not allow high throughput of patients. Our product is a targeted microbubble that finds its way to the tumor location and provides a strong contrast for ultrasound. Smart Bubbles works regardless of patient age, and it also has potential in diagnostics of other diseases. We are developing this product at the Aalto University, funded by the Business Finland, with spinout coming in 2025.
