BitPet® is an F2P geolocation mobile game, where players take care of virtual pets and photograph them using AR in real locations, or in their customizable 3D homebase, to showcase them in daily themed photo competitions. Players participate in themed photo competitions where they showcase their accessorized pets in their customized homebase, or in exciting real locations using AR. This leverages UGC and creates network effects as players entertain each other in this evergreen game mechanic. The photo contests allow players to express their creativity and show off their progress to get admiration and status, which drives the monetization of skins, props and accessories. The AR aspect makes for appealing visuals, lending itself well for social media marketing, and the photos (and videos) are easily shared outside the app, both of which can induce viral spread. Co-founded by a Kahoot! founder, we've worked for four years with the game and are close to a soft launch. We recently raised a $300k bridge round from WePlay Ventures and several prominent angel investors. Total funding so far: $980k We are looking for seed investors to support our global launch in 2025.
