Our belief is to commercialize our scientific research into viable products with a major focus on Diabetes & its complications. Most of the 400+ million diabetic patients in the world may be unaware of the looming threat of foot ulcers leading to amputation. Every 30 seconds, there is one patient who loses his limb because of diabetes. There are two important & neglected complications of diabetes, one is diabetic foot neuropathy, and the other is periphery artery disease. We have 3 products in our portfolio: a) VIBRASENSE (Screening): Vibrasense® is a portable and smart peripheral neuropathy screening device that quantifies vibration perception threshold. The device is so portable that it fits in a doctor’s coat pocket and can be carried around within the hospital facility and remote locations with ease. It is rechargeable like a mobile phone and a single charge provides screening of 70-100 patients. It is a smart device that pairs via Bluetooth with the mobile phone and helps generate reports wirelessly. b) VIBRASENSE+T: It enables clinicians to diagnose neuropathy by objectively evaluating a patient's vibration, and temperature perception (Hot and cold) thresholds using a single probe. The device is unique in that it utilizes the world’s first single probe to perform all three evaluations, which is not found in any other device worldwide. This automatic and rapid testing saves over 50 percent of the clinician's time and eliminates subjectivity in delivering stimuli at various points in the foot. c) ANGIOCAM: It is a laser-based, non-invasive imaging device that provides real-time video images of microvascular perfusion. This will help surgeons evaluate and quantify microcirculation in the foot and monitor the healing process of diabetic foot ulcers. Our device's innovative approach is its ability to provide unprecedented information on the correlation between microcirculation and macrocirculation parameters, a world-first in this field. The availability of such information will enable clinicians to make better decisions about the potential for limb salvage, the necessity of referring patients for vascular interventions, and the objective documentation of improvements in microcirculation following such interventions.
