A moderator, journalist, and communications strategist who’s created and facilitated conversations across numerous sectors and cultures; Natalia has worked with U.S. Senate Press Office for Senator John Kerry, The Huffington Post, and the U.S. Embassy in Sweden.
Natalia is the former CEO of the Stockholm based Brilliant Minds Foundation, who’s mission is to support European founders with transformative ideas that make the world more sustainable, creative and inclusive.
Now serving as the Head Of Strategy at fintech giant Klarna, we’re delighted to welcome Natalia to The Selected Salon on December 9 at 17h (Paris time).
Founded in 2005, Klarna is now one of Europe’s largest banks and is providing payment solutions for 90 million consumers across more than 200,000 merchants in 17 countries.
Given Natalia’s experience in U.S.-Scandinavian cultural and business practices, she’s uniquely positioned to bring a fresh perspective to the company, and her personal ethos of change and building for good could help shape the direction not only of Klarna, but the entire fintech sector, and ultimately the financial industry as a whole.
“I’m so proud to be working for Klarna, a company I believe will change the world and make our banking environment more fair, accessible and modern.”
We’ll also be talking about what has made not only Klarna a global success, but why and how a number of Scandinavian based tech firms, Swedish in particular, are poised to unseat both London and Berlin as the home of European tech.
“I’ve always believe the Nordics have ‘reached the future first’ when it comes to gender equality, sustainability, transparency, openness and leveraging those values for creating globally disruptive tech companies.
