Digital healthcare for Europe’s LGBTQ community just secured critical funding. Every Health, the continent’s first virtual clinic dedicated to LGBTQ digital health, has raised €1.1 million in a Seed round. The Berlin-based platform tackles a gap affecting 75 million people across Europe who face up to 23 times higher health risks yet lack adequate access to inclusive care.
Czech Founders VC led the investment, joined by Atlantic Labs, Nation 1 VC, Ultra Ventures, ZAS Ventures, and Taimi, one of the world’s largest LGBTQ dating apps. The backing enables Every Health to scale beyond Germany, where thousands already use its testing, consultation, prescription, and home delivery services.
Bridging the LGBTQ Digital Health Gap in Europe
Traditional healthcare systems fail LGBTQ individuals at alarming rates. Nearly half avoid disclosing their sexual orientation or gender identity to doctors due to discrimination fears, according to EU Agency for Fundamental Rights data. The consequences are stark: gay men globally face 23 times higher HIV risk than the general population, yet specialised prevention remains scarce across Europe.
“Health is a human right, not a privilege,” said Dimitri Bilyarchyk, Every Health co-founder. “For LGBTQ people, that right has been systematically denied for far too long. We’ve heard countless stories: gay men travelling hundreds of kilometres every few months to get their PrEP, trans individuals waiting months for affirming care appointments, queer people avoiding doctors due to discrimination.”
The platform addresses both LGBTQ-specific pathways and broader sexual health services plagued by stigma in conventional settings. Its digital-first model eliminates geographic barriers, discrimination risks, and the shame that prevents millions from seeking treatment.
Strategic Investment Signals Category Creation
Czech Founders VC’s lead investment reflects confidence in an emerging European healthtech category. “Our investment in Every Health was driven by the opportunity to solve a massive, underserved healthcare need affecting tens of millions of Europeans,” said Ivan Kristel, General Partner at Czech Founders VC. “Dima and his team are exceptional executors who have proven they can build trust in a market that’s been historically stigmatised.”
Taimi’s participation marks the dating platform’s first venture beyond its core business, signaling broader digital health consolidation in LGBTQ tech. “Investing in Every Health is a natural extension of our mission,” explained Alex Pasykov, Taimi founder. “We’ve always believed that supporting the LGBTQ community means going beyond romantic connection.”
The €1.1 million positions Every Health to expand its doctor network, partner pharmacies, and lab collaborations across European markets where healthcare infrastructure has systematically underserved LGBTQ populations. With established traction in its first operational year, the startup targets service expansion and new diagnostic pathways while building the category from scratch.
