I've spent years in this industry, and something is shifting.
Costs are going up—square meters, logistics, everything. Meanwhile, what attendees want has completely changed. Gen Y and Gen Z don't care about walking an exhibition hall for hours. They want to learn something. They want experiences that actually matter to them. They want to feel like the event was built with them in mind, not just around them.
And on the other side, AI is creating opportunities we've never had before. Better matchmaking. New ways to monetize content. Personalization at scale. The potential is real.
But here's what keeps me up at night: most of the tools our industry relies on weren't built for any of this. The CRMs, the registration systems, the production workflows—they're patchwork. Duct tape and spreadsheets. We keep trying to add new capabilities on top of old foundations, and it doesn't work.
So we decided to start over.
Sesamers exists to rebuild event infrastructure from scratch. With AI, automation, and data as the starting point—not an afterthought. We're building for sales teams, marketing teams, content teams, production teams. All of it, connected.
It's ambitious. Maybe a little crazy. But I genuinely believe the events that thrive in the next decade will be the ones that figure this out first.
We intend to help them get there.
